Desyl Peterson, who served as Minnetonka's city attorney from 1984 until her retirement in May 2013, has been named the recipient of the 2013 Women in Public Service Lifetime Achievement Award by <a href="http://www.hamline.edu/wips/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Hamline University's Center for Public Administration and Leadership</a>. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the public good. Peterson will be recognized at the Women in Public Service Conference on Friday, Nov. 15, at Hamline University in St. Paul. The conference is hosted by Hamline's Center for Public Administration and Leadership and the Master in Public Administration program.
