On Thursday, Feb. 16, the city of Minnetonka held a lottery drawing for 2012 Gray's Bay Marina boat slip vacancies and for the waiting list. Only Minnetonka residents were eligible for these slips. Four individuals were chosen by lottery to fill the boat slip vacancy and 18 others chosen by lottery to fill wait list vacancies. Slips are approximately 10½ feet in width and can accommodate boats up to a maximum of 26 feet length overall (LOA). Cost per slip for the 2010 boating season is $3,800. The lottery took place at the Minnetonka Community Center.
