Letter: Minnetonka Mayor Urges Vote for Jan Callison

To the editor:

I have had the pleasure to serve with Jan Callison for fifteen years on the
Minnetonka City council and to work with Jan for the last four years in her
position as our Hennepin County Commissioner.

Jan has a proven ability to listen to all sides of complex issues and make
fair and reasoned decisions.  Her opinions and suggested solutions are well
respected by other Commissioners, and she is able to take a balanced
approach and make the best decisions for the residents and businesses of
Hennepin County.

Jan's thoughtful easy going positive nature is refreshing break from all of
the hard hitting negative discourse that appears to be dominating many
conversations regarding the appropriate role of government providing
services to residents and business.  Her long term pragmatic approach to
decision making will serve all of us well in assuring the county is
providing appropriate services at a cost that gives us good value for our
tax dollar.

I would encourage you to join me in re-electing Jan Callison to the Hennepin
County Board.
