Letter: New Minnetonka Council Member Patty Acomb Says Thank You

Dear Friends and Neighbors.

Valentine’s Day will forever hold new meaning for me and I am humbled by the results of the special election for the Minnetonka City Council.  We are so fortunate to have had so many qualified and committed candidates who are interested in serving our community.  They all deserve our thanks and gratitude!

I also want to thank all of you who made time to get out and vote in this special election.  The number of you that really take your vote seriously and research the candidates especially impressed me.  Many of you even reached out to me looking for more information.  I was thrilled to be able to talk with you and I hope that people will continue to reach out to me in the coming weeks and months.

Finally I want to take this opportunity to thank the many volunteers and all the incredible people who have supported my campaign for Minnetonka City Council.  I would never have been able to win this election without the help and expertise of each and every one of you.  I owe you all a debt of gratitude!

I feel privileged to serve the city that I love, and I will work hard to represent all the residents of Minnetonka in my role as an at-large City Council member.
