Letter to the Editor: Knight Says He's Ready To Lead

Minnetonka City Council candidate wants to hear from voters.

To the editor:

Minnetonka is a wonderful place, and I want to make sure it stays that way – by listening to you! With that spirit in mind, I am excited to announce my candidacy for Minnetonka city council.

I feel blessed to have a wonderful, thoughtful wife and two beautiful boys - Grant is 8 at and Evan is 5 at . For 13 years, we have lived in the Minnetonka Mills neighborhood near the Burwell House. The wooded character, vibrant businesses, and premier schools all attracted us to our Minnetonka community.

Listening to you will be my approach. Email, phone and in-person conversations will be key. I will work diligently and ask detailed questions.

If I am fortunate to earn your support, I will focus on three areas:

  • Being respectful of our tax dollars
  • Ensuring city services are responsive
  • Preserving our neighborhood character
