Letter: Resident Plans Meet and Greet With Three Council Candidates

Hello my friends and fellow citizens:

You are invited to meet Minnetonka City Council Candidates.

I hope you are aware that the Minnetonka City Council has a vacancy that must filled immediately. A special election (not appointment) will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

Towards that effort, I hoped we all might get to know some of the eight candidates who have entered this race for the Council At-Large Seat B. I researched the eight registered candidates and selected three to participate in a local meet-and-greet. 

Patty Acomb, Joe Bodell and Peggy Kvam accepted my invitation to participate this Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Glen Lake Community Center.

Please join me from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in getting to know these excellent candidates. Also, please mark your calendars with the Feb. 14 voting date.  Absentee ballots/voting began on Jan. 13. Information on voting is available on www.eminnetonka.com or by calling 952-939-8200.
