Letter: Yvonne Selcer is Driven and Dynamic

To the Editor:

I first met Yvonne Selcer when she encouraged me to join the Hopkins District Legislation Action Committee.

Her enthusiasm for making Hopkins schools the best for all our children eventually led her to chair this committee which has become a national model for advocacy. This, however wasn't enough for Yvonne.  When our schools started to have fiscal troubles, she spent two terms on the school board.

She helped move the district from a negative to a positive fiscal balance.

Now as she runs for State Representative, I urge you to join me in voting for this dynamic, driven and passionate candidate.
