Rabbi Harold J. Kravitz of Adath Jeshurun Congregation was given the honor by the Jewish Daily Forward.

The Adath Jeshurun Congregation in Minnetonka is celebrating the recognition of one of its leaders.
Rabbi Harold J. Kravitz was named one of America’s Most Inspiring Rabbis by The Jewish Daily Forward.
As one of "36 Rabbis Shaping 21st-Century Judaism" in the nation, the "rabbis profiled on these pages teach us a profound lesson about the yearnings of North American Jews at this fraught moment in time," wrote Jane Eisner, editor-in-chief of The Jewish Daily Forward.

Adath congregant Gerald Siegel, who was among those who nominated Rabbi Kravitz for the list, was quoted in the publication:
“When our daughter, Karen, died 12 years ago, Rabbi Kravitz helped us find a meaningful way to honor her memory — by establishing the Keren Or Creative Arts Forum to encourage artistic activities of Jewish youth in Minnesota. He has been a source of great comfort to us in our time of loss. On a congregational trip to Israel in 2005, we were among the least mobile of the group, and he was constantly attentive to our needs and whereabouts. His unspoken motto: No Jew Left Behind. Because of his reputation, he attracts gifted young rabbis to our congregation and has greatly enriched my life and the lives of the Jewish community in the Twin Cities.”

"We are so fortunate to have Rabbi Kravitz as our senior congregational rabbi," Barbara Rubin-Greenberg, president of Adath Jeshurun Congregation, wrote in an article on TCJewfolk.com. "His values and his leadership go beyond what can be mentioned in any one article. Working with him is a delight because he is thoughtful and always comes from a place of high integrity and compassion."
