Minnetonka Boys Swim And Dive Team Looks For Repeat State Title
Eleven individuals and all three relays qualified this year for state.

's boys swim and dive team is looking for a second consecutive Class AA state team title this year.
The Skippers are returning competitors to every event except the 50-yard freestyle. At last year's state meet, the team did not win a single event but when their points were tallied they outscored Eden Prairie by five and a half points.
This year's state meet will start on Thursday, March 1 and run through Saturday, March 3. All events will take place at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. Prices are $5 for both students and adults for the diving preliminaries, and $8 for both students and adults for the swimming preliminaries and for the swimming and diving finals.

The team placed second at the Section 6AA meet. Eleven individuals and all three relays qualified for state.
- Eric Sirjord – 200 individual medley, 500 freestyle
- Kendall Dunn – 200 individual medley, 100 breaststroke
- Brett Hakes – 100 backstroke
- Noah Busch – 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke
- Dan Bielski – 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke
- John Seylar – 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle
- Bastien Ibri – 200 individual medley
- Ryan Current – 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle
- Patrick Quarberg – 1 meter diving
- Teddy Goodyear – 1 meter diving
- Trent Youngdahl – Relays only
- 200 medley relay – Busch, Dunn, Bielski, Youngdahl
- 200 freestyle relay – Current, Sirjord, Seylar, Youngdahl
- 400 freestyle relay – Bush, Current, Dunn, Sirjord
