Minnetonka Crime Report: Malicious Punishment and Theft

June 17 at 8:20 a.m.: Police responded to a report of property damage/vandalism at the 5000 block of Black Friars Lane.

June 19 at 12:17 p.m.: A 27-year-old Minnetonka man was arrested on the 7000 block of Glenroy Road for gross misdemeanor family offenses-malicious punishment and misdemeanor family offenses-domestic assault. He was charged in Hennepin County Court on June 21 with malicious punishment of a child, a gross misdemeanor.

June 19 at 3.18 p.m.: A court summons was issued by Hennepin County Court for Sadeya Narnale Rodriguez, 34, of Minneapolis. She is charged with two counts: felony possession of shoplifting gear and misdemeanor theft of property valued less than $500. The summons is a result of a situation on May 15 at Marshalls in Minnetonka.

June 19 at 5:16 p.m.: Police responded to a report of property damage/vandalism on Townline Road and Vine Hill Road.  

June 19 at 5:40 p.m.: Police responded to a report of property damage/vandalism at 19050 Stratford Road.

June 20 at 10:38 a.m.: A burglary was reported on the 12000 block of Marion Lane West.

June 20 at 3:30 p.m.: A burglary was reported on the 10000 block of Cedar Lake Road.

June 20 at 3:30 p.m.: A burglary was reported on the 14000 block of Pondview Circle.

June 21 at 10:57 p.m.: A burglary was reported on the 5000 block of Pompano Drive.

June 22 at 10:19 p.m.: A 42-year-old Excelsior man was arrested on the 5000 block of Spring Circle for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation.

June 23 at 3:18 a.m.: A 23-year-old Deephaven man was arrested on Avondale/Lake Street Extension for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI.

June 23 at 10:27 p.m.: A 43-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested on I-394 and Hopkins Crossroad for gross misdemeanor no insurance and misdemeanor fourth-degree DWI.
