Incoming Minnetonka High School freshmen got a roaring welcome Wednesday during a school kick-off event.
Seniors in the school’s First Mate Senior Leadership program dressed in togas and divided the new students into groups named after figures from classical mythology. The groups then did teambuilding activities—such as trust falls, running through jump ropes and walking together on planks.
School starts Tuesday for first through 12th graders.
