The following students were selected to perform in the 2013 American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) of MN State Honor Choirs. MN 9-10 State Honor Mixed Choir Christian Belz, Grade 10 Brady Bunkelman, Grade 10 Scottie Schwefel, Grade 9 Avery Pilot, Grade 9 MN 9-10 State Honor Women's Choir Emma Leonovicz, Grade 9 Anna Ginther, Grade 10 Maren Dahl, Grade 9 To be selected to the State Honor Choirs is one of the most prestigious honors in choral music. The selection process is highly competitive. Students prepare a "blind" audition that is scored by a selection committee. Students are carefully chosen and are considered among the best young Minnesota choral musicians from hundreds of applications. The State Honor Choirs will give a public performance on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 5:30 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church (333 South 12th Street) in Minneapolis.

Seven high school choral students were selected to perform with the State 9-10 High School Women's and Mixed Honor Choirs on Valentine's Day in Minneapolis.
