Naked Walker: #2 Minnetonka Patch Story of 2012

A Minnetonka neighborhood got more of a show than they bargained for one late summer evening.

A naked person was spotted walking down the street on James Road near the intersection of Fairview Avenue in Minnetonka at about 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 13. The article Juvenile Arrested After Walking Naked in a Minnetonka Neighborhood was the second most popular of the year.

The person was identified as a 17-year-old male juvenile, so his name was not released.

A homeowner living in the neighborhood told Patch he saw the shed clothing on the street.

The boy ran from officers, and then appered to enter a home on the 12000 block of James Road. Police then followed him into the woods behind the house.

The boy was eventually cuffed by Minnetonka Police but remained uncooperative. EMTs responded to the scene, and the boy was apparently restrained.

Minnetonka Police Captain Scott Boerboom said they suspect the boy was under the influence but are not sure if it was drugs or alcohol.
