Looking for summer employment opportunities?

 departments hiring for the summer include recreation, public works and natural resources. Jobs range from part-time to full-time and many positions involve working evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Descriptions of positions available can be found on the city's website.

Recreation Services

All positions require that you complete an application form (PDF) or fill out an online application. You can also call 952-939-8203, or visit the Recreation Services office Monday-Friday 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., to obtain a full application.

Recreation Services offers many part-time jobs throughout the year. Apply early as positions are filled as early as possible. You must be at least 16 years of age.

Public Works/Natural Resources summer jobs

Most public works seasonal positions are 40 hours per week. Flexible scheduling is likely and some positions require working weekends.
