PHOTOS: Minnetonka Horses Rejoice in Spring (and Mud)

Horses at the We Can Ride barn celebrated the melting of the snow by taking naps and rolling in the mud.

Happy, Fancy, Bobbie, Mort and the whole gang at Minnetonka's We Can Ride barn can't believe that winter has actually ended.

On Wednesday at the barn located on the Hennepin County Home School property, the horses showed their approval for the melted snow in their pastures by rolling and relaxing on the thawing ground.

The horses who live there have an important job– they're not just pleasure ponies. They serve clients in the We Can Ride program.
