Proposal For New Wards In Minnetonka Released
The deadline for Minnesota cities to complete their redistricting of wards and precincts is March 29.
MINNEAPOLIS — The city of Minnetonka has released a proposal for new ward boundaries. By law, Minnetonka is required to redraw its districts after the latest United States Census is complete.
The goal of redistricting is to make adjustments that reflect the changes in population. View the proposed map for Minnetonka here. Comments on the proposal can be emailed here through March 11.
New maps for Minnesota's congressional districts have already been released. Maps for the Minnesota State Legislature are also complete.

Some cities, such as Minneapolis, are already done with their redistricting. The deadline for Minnesota cities to complete the redistricting of wards and precincts is March 29.
The deadline for all other redistricting, including school boards, is April 26.
