Tornado Watch for Minnetonka, Hennepin County

A tornado watch is in effect for multiple Minnesota counties, including Hennepin County, until 11 p.m. tonight.

The National Weather Service issued the latest watch shortly before 4 p.m.

Severe thunderstorms are also possible in the Twin Cities on Sunday evening, as a low pressure system makes its way through the area. Hail and damaging winds could both occur with the storms.

The chance of precipitation is 70 percent. 

More rain is possible in the metro throughout the coming week, according to the latest NWS forecast.
