Kyle Gregory Hamblin, 59

Kyle Gregory Hamblin was born February 9, 1953, in Glendale, California, to Gerald and Dorothy (Morrison) Hamblin.  He graduated from Northview High School in Covina, California, in 1971.  He worked for the family business in El Monte, California for 15 years, and during that time his daughter Alana was born.  In 1990, he moved to Northfield and worked for Bilkin Industries for 18 years.  During that time his son Ethan was born.  Kyle loved riding and tinkering with his motorcycle.  In 1984, he received his pilots license and he enjoyed flying and maintaining his Cessna.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Alana and John Camacho of Upland, California,  his son Ethan of Northfield, his mother Dorothy of Northfield, his brother Kevin of Owatonna, his sister Debbie (Brian) Hamblin-Heckers of Northfield, his grandchildren Tyler, Avery and Kaley, and his nephews Sean, Kyle, Curtis and Taylor.  He was preceded in death by his father Gerald and his nephew Christian.

Kyle passed away with his family by his side on Sunday afternoon, May 27, 2012, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, at the age of 59.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 6-8PM Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the Northfield VFW Club.  Interment will be in Northfield Cemetery.
