Mark Thornton Resigns as Boys Track and Field Coach

Mark Thornton resigned as head boys track & field coach a few weeks ago so the position had been posted and now is filled. 

Karl Viesselman, an assistant in our program and math teacher at NHS has been hired as the new boys track and field head coach.  Karl has a great deal of track and field coaching experience and will do a wonderful job, just as Coach Thornton had done.  We were fortunate to have had Mark Thornton leading that program for the past couple of years and also fortunate to have such a quality coach in Karl Viesselman to take this over. 

Certainly this hire, as is the case with all coaching hires, is contingent on School Board approval.
