Northfield Transit is moving from its current dial-a-ride service to a combination of route deviation and dial-a-ride service in order to increase the level of service to the community.
The new transit operation will be implemented in January 2012.
Northfield Transit is actively seeking public input in the route development process. This is the second of two public open houses related to the development of the new bus routes.

City staff will give a short presentation on how route deviation works, describe the proposed routes and timetables and then open up the conversation to questions and input from the public.
The City Council will vote on whether to adopt the proposed routes at their November 15, 2011 meeting. Once adopted, the routes will be implemented the first week of January 2012.
