Ever wanted to learn how to kayak or go on a canoe trip but didn't want to go alone? Â The Cannon River Watershed Partnership is offering opportunities for both.Â
On June 6th at 6:00 PM there will be a kayak class at 5351 Elkton Trail, Faribault, the home of Marshall and Betsy Wright on Cannon Lake.  Marshall is a certified instructor who will teach you the basics of how to kayak.  Must be 16 years of age or older. Cost is $15 per person. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to CRWP. Register by June 5th.
On June 16th we'll explore the wonderful Wild & Scenic Cannon River from Cannon Falls to Welch. This half day paddle will start at 10 AM in Cannon Falls at Riverside Park and end at Welch Mill around 2 PM. Â Don't have a canoe or kayak? Â No worries, we'll have rentals available and shuttle service for a fee. Â Register by June 9th.
