Pastry Shop Coming to Downtown Northfield?

I've heard from a few people that the former space on Division Street will soon house a pastry/coffee shop.

No, I don't have confirmation.

I reached out to Craig Redalen, property manager for that building, and he declined to comment.

I told him what I had heard, including that the shop was aiming for a September opening, likely to open with a flurry of traffic from Defeat of Jesse James Days. I asked him if I could contact him in a few weeks to see if he was able to talk about the possible development then.

He told me to contact him in July.

First, I trust the people who I heard it from, and a "For Lease" sign that had been in the window of space is no longer there.

There's not much more sacred in Northfield than its downtown storefronts. Whenever I hear word of a vacant space possibly being filled, I'm eager to share the news with Patch users.

So, anyone know anything more?
