The parcels are at 111 Rustic Drive in Mahtomedi, which has a house and an attached garage, and at 3101 Granada Avenue in Oakdale, which has a house, detached garage and storage shed. Both were forfeited to the state for nonpayment of property taxes, and the parcels were released by the city in which they are located for public sale.
Notice of the auction will be placed in the countyβs legal newspaper, and owners of adjoining land will also be notified of the auction.

The properties will be sold to the highest bidder, and the minimum bid accepted is the basic sale price, which is the appraised value plus any special assessments levied after forfeiture.
The board also approved of the disposal of personal property abandoned on the properties by Luther Auctions.
