Woodbury Leadership Academy (WLA) is a tuition-free, K-12 public charter school where high expectations and success matter to all! Oakdale's art gallery in June will feature the paintings of Gilvanete (Jill) Surine, who works as a Latino liaison and interpreter for <a href="http://www.isd622.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">District 622</a>. Surine's oil paintings will be on display at the Oakdale Discovery Center, which showcases the work of a local artist each month. A reception for Surine is scheduled for 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Oakdale Discovery Center, located at 4444 Hadley Ave. Hours are: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday; noon to 4 p.m. Saturday; and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
