Farmers Market
The Oakdale Farmers Market has been cancelled for Wednesday, Sept. 4, due to roadwork on Hadley Avenue.

Volleyball
From a post on the Oakdale Patch Board:
Tartan Juniors Volleyball in Oakdale MN is currently looking for coaches for our age 11-16's teams. The JO season runs from December to the end of April. There are 8-10 tournaments a season.
Tartan Juniors offers coaches the flexibility to set their own tournament schedule. There are generally 2 practices a week.

Fall Festival
Guardian Angels Church’s fall festival is coming up.

Community Dance "The Midas Touch" from 6-9pm
The Midas Touch is composed of four fabulous musicians who regularly rock the house at Mancini's. They play everything from swing to rock and roll, all your favorite hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s! They are sure to tempt your dancing feet! Come enjoy the music at this community-wide event.
Family Homeless Advisory Committee
Kellie Cardinal, who helps manage the family
shelter in Washington County at Guardian Angels Church in Oakdale, has been appointed to the Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Citizen Advisory Committee.
Cardinal, also the director of St. Andrew's Community Resource Center, will serve as an emergency shelter/transitional housing representative to a first term expiring June 30, 2016.
The advisory panel's purpose is to provide public input and increase the accountability of the Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program in Washington County.
