Virtual: Google Tools for Business, 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4. Learn Google Business Tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Marketing Platform, and My Business. Review Google Search Console for connecting your website to Google and discuss how to use YouTube to promote your business. This workshop will be presented by Keer Keer Creative. International Games Week, Monday, Nov. 8 β Friday, Nov. 12. Join us for board games, card games and other tabletop games for all ages. Stop by while the library is open to play with old friends, family, or make new connections. This program will take place throughout the day and does not require any registration or time commitment. Games and space are available first-come, first-serve.
International Games Week: Nintendo Wii Gaming, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8. Play the Wii at Hardwood Creek Library. Available games include Mario Cart, Rayman, Wii Sports, and Smarty Pants. Maximum of four players per hour. Registration is required for a one-hour time slot. Virtual: Annual Medicare Update, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9. Are you ready for your annual Medicare open enrollment? Puzzle Competition! 10:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13. Are you ready for a challenge? Teams of 2 to 4 people will compete to finish the same 550-piece puzzle in the least amount of time. Building with Bricks, 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13. Come create with the library's Lego collection. Build your own invention, dream house, or a rocket to the moon. Let's Make Stuff: Block Printing, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 1 to 2:30 P.M.

Author Talk: Bill Strusinski, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20. Meet local author and Scandia resident, Bill Strusinski, as he discusses his book "Care Under Fire." Strusinski will discuss his experiences as a medic during the Vietnam War, what it was like to learn about saving a life in war time in only 10 weeks, and how his experiences went on to influence the rest of his life.
