MN Doc Dies From COVID-19 After Spreading Misinfo: Report

VADNAIS HEIGHTS, MN — A Twin Cities doctor died from COVID-19 after using his blog to spread misinformation about coronavirus and the pandemic.

Dr. Christopher Foley — a physician who trained in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota — founded the Minnesota Natural Medicine clinic in Vadnais Heights after working for HealthEast and Woodwinds Health Campus.

Foley, 71, was unvaccinated, Minnesota Public Radio reports.

Using his blog, Foley published posts spreading debunked claims about masks being dangerous and promoted unproven treatments for COVID-19.
