Oakdale Bank Reopens After Bomb Threat Subdued

Lake Elmo Bank is back to business after a St. Paul man threatened he had a bomb at the building Wednesday morning.

Lake Elmo Bank in Oakdale reopened its facility today after it was evacuated Wednesday morning when a man .

Matthew Allen Klemmer, 45, of St. Paul was taken into custody at Washington County Jail after he walked up to the bank's drive-through window claiming he had a "threatening device" and demanded to speak with federal agents.

TheΒ Oakdale Police DepartmentΒ and theΒ Federal Bureau of Investigation are continuing to investigate the incident. Klemmer's motive for making the threat is still unknown.
