An Oakdale man plans to open a new martial arts studio June 1 in Woodbury.
Master Kim's World Class Tae Kwon Do will offer classes for people 4 years old and older, said Joo Hyun Park, manager. Adult and family classes are also available.
It’s the first studio for Jung Hwan Kim, who began studying martial arts when he was 6 years old, Park said.
Kim hails from Buffalo, N.Y., where he previously worked as a tae kwon do instructor for eight years. He also studied at Dong-A University in South Korea.
It’s located at 1795 Radio Drive, near Acapulco.
