July 13

  • Officers were called to the 1500 block of Hallmark Lane regarding a domestic assault where a man broke a woman's phone while she dialed 911. The male allegedly punched the woman in the face, which officers noted when they met with the female. Officers picked up the man nearby, who denied the assault. He was booked in Washington County Jail.

July 14

  • Officers were called regarding an out-of-control male who was upset over a card game. The man was intoxicated and was being belligeren to the homeowners, who had asked him to leave. Officers brought the man to a nearby gas station at the intersection of I-694 and Highway 120. The man was later picked up by his brother.
  • An 18-year-old male concealed $12.99 worth of merchandise and tried to leave Fleet Farm without paying for the item. The man was cited for misdemeanor theft.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Grenwich Lane. Four tires of a black Mazda were reportedly punctured while parked in the victim's driveway. The estimated damage is $800. There are no suspects at this time.
  • A takeout restaurant delivery person ran into the victim's garage, which then hit the victim's vehicle that was parked inside. The delivery person forgot to put his vehicle in park when he got out of his vehicle.

July 15

  • Officers pulled a vehicle over on the 3000 block of Geneva Avenue. The driver was arrested for DWI and two juvenile passengers were cited for minor consumption.
