Oakdale Police are investigating a string of burglaries at Oakdale Village Apartments recently. An unknown suspect broke into 11 detached garages sometime between 4:30 p.m. Jan. 23 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 24. Management reported that three of the 11 garages had not been entered. One of the tenants reported that the suspect or suspects broke his vehicle's window in his garage and stole his GPS and a screen for his camera. The total loss is estimated at $220.  Another tenant reported that his vehicle was also broken into. The suspect took his Pioneer CD player, tool shop drill and a scooter located in his garage.
