Skijoring at Eagle Lake Regional Park

Skijoring is a winter sport in which a person wearing Nordic skis is drawn over snow by a dog.

Give it a try on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 from noon – 1:30 p.m., at Eagle Lake Regional Park, Plymouth.

With the help of Skijor USA members and a Skijor Now instructor, you will learn the basics you need to skijor and how to train your dog. This class is for beginners and gear is provided. Dog and skis are required.         

Cost is $20 and reservations are required. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number #125711-01. This program is for ages 16+.
