
During this three-session course, you will learn the basics for not just surviving a Minnesota winter, but enjoying it as well.
The first two sessions are held at Midwest Mountaineering on Tuesday, Feb. 5, and Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 6-8 p.m.
During these sessions, you will learn about winter layering, menu planning, winter sleeping systems, winter travel, Leave No Trace camping, cold injuries and winter safety.

These skills are then put into practice at French Regional Park, Plymouth, during a daytime snowshoe and overnight. The overnight camping adventure runs from 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, to 9 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 17. This program is Cosponsored by Midwest Mountaineering.
