Monday, May 20, 2013:
• Rep. Erik Paulsen Hosts "Congress on Your Corner" event at the Maple Grove Cub Foods, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Cub Foods on Wedgewood Lane in Maple Grove. An opportunity to speak with Paulsen one-on-one regarding casework issues or express concerns on policies.

• "The Road Back From Foreclosure," 8 a.m., Interfaith Outreach Community and Partners. This session by Housing for All Now, looks at the struggles many families have after facing foreclosure and how to find possibilities when the worst happens. You must RSVP to Caprice at 612-558-3189.
Wednesday, May 22, 2013:

• Healthy U, Healthy US- Spring Health Fair, 5:30 p.m., Minnesota School of Business in Plymouth. Booths and stations at the fair will include opportunities to get your body fat analysis, nutrition information, learn about workplace wellness, see exercise demonstrations, ebter contests and prizes and attend massage clinics. Also students from the Minnesota School of Cosmetology will also be on hand to provide free spa services to all attendees.
Thursday, May 23, 2013:
• Environmental Quality Fair, 5-8 p.m., at Zachary Lane Elementary School. Free attend for all ages, experience animals and plants in an interactive learning environment. Participants will learn about animal habitat, recycling, insects, trees, energy conservation, gardening and water.
The Minnesota Zoomobile will escort Minnesota-native animals, including the Great Horned Owl, Bull Snake, Blanding’s Turtle, Western Hognosed Snake and Opossum, as well as foreign species such as the African Millipede.
Also in attendance will be the International Wolf Center and the University of Minnesota’s Bee Lab. Available for purchase and signature will be “Minnesota Bug Hunt” by author Bruce “the Bug Guy” Giebin and his touchable insects, as well as “Critters” by Kathi Kreatz. (To help make this a zero-waste event, visitors should bring their own water bottles and bags to carry home materials they pick up at the fair.)
Friday, May 24, 2013:
• West Medicine Lake Community Club Sale, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at West Medicine Lake Community Club. The sale includes many different sellers and items including a bake sale. It is a first-time fundraiser for the Club.
