Free Concerts, Movie and Family Fun All this Week in Plymouth

There's always plenty of different things happening this week in Plymouth. Listed below are a few events and activities to know about and attend. (Do you have a cool event? Let us know in the comments below!)

Plymouth's Entertainment in the Parks program continues this week with a few different concerts and other events around the city: 

• The first is Bridgn’Bloom, which will perform at a free concert 8 p.m. Monday, July 22, on the Hilde Small stage. This vibrant group features gospel vocalist Bridget Dawkins and musician/vocalist Mark Bloom who bring to life diverse styles of pop, jazz, blues favorites, soul music and more. 

• The second is Dirty Shorts Brass Band, which will perform at a free concert 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, on the Parker's Lake stage. The band is known for its "New Orleans style" brass band sound that includes trumpets, saxophone, mellophone, trombone, tuba and a drummer. 

• The Zinghoppers will perform for free 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Parker's Lake stage. The preschool pop band includes a hip-hop and electro-dance sound, has toured around the world and won an Emmy award. The performance is geared toward children ages 2 to 8.

• The Plymouth's Farmer's Market continues it's seasonal run 2:30-6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the Ice Center parking lot next to Lifetime Fitness. The next market is Wednesday, July 24.

• The free movie in the park this week is 9-10:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at the Hilde Performance Center next to City Hall. This week's movie is "Monster's Inc." There's even concessions for purchase!

• Another free concert featuring Brio Brass is 7 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Hilde Amphitheater. Brio Brass is a 45 member brass band playing bid band and jazz styled popular music for all eras.
