LETTER: Jeff Wosje To Run For Ward 2 Council Seat
Plymouth City Council member Jeffry Wosje writes a letter announcing his running for the seat this fall.

To The Editor:
Last fall, the Plymouth City Council unanimously selected me to replace Kathleen Murdock representing Ward 2. Since that time, I have had the privilege and honor to serve on the City Council, to represent not only the residents of Ward 2, but all of Plymouth as well.
There have been many issues the City deals with and the learning curve has been great, but also rewarding. What was most surprising is the amount of reading required to prep for a Council meeting, often 200 -300+ pages of material. And you can tell everyone on the Council has done their homework as they are prepared to discuss the issues.

Everyone on the Council, and the Mayor, has been a joy to work with. We don’t always agree on the issues, but we are always respectful of one another’s thoughts and opinions. The best part has been connecting with all the different residents, helping with their concerns and making sure their interests are represented.
This last year I was President of our local Rotary Club, and I am currently President of the Plymouth Business Council, work on Plymouth’s Advisory Committee on Transit and am currently President of the Wayzata High School Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO). That, and my 30 years working in finance gives me the experience to ensure the City keeps its strong financial position. I love and care about our City, and am committed to do whatever I can to ensure Plymouth remains a great place to live. So it is with that same honor and privilege to announce that I will be running in this fall’s elections to return to the City Council.
