Letter: Running For Plymouth City Council
Jim Willis is running for re-election to the Plymouth City Council At-Large seat this fall.

To the Editor:
I am running for re-election to the Plymouth City Council for the At-Large seat. I have served this community proudly for nearly 30 years – first as City Manager and most recently as your At-Large Councilmember. I have substantial knowledge of our local government and how it works.
I care deeply about Plymouth and my experience has helped the City Council successfully address the opportunities and challenges facing our city.

If re-elected, I will continue to
- Work to ensure unparalleled public safety services.
- Control property taxes. The city tax levy has not increased in three years!
- Improve and maintain the quality of our parks, lakes, ponds and wetlands.
- Attract quality development that pays its own way.
- Safe streets: continue to undertake street maintenance and reconstruction, and work to decrease traffic congestion.
My campaign has been endorsed by Mayor Kelli Slavik and five Plymouth Mayors who know of my qualifications and abilities: Mayors Judy Johnson, Joy Tierney, Virgil Schneider, David Davenport, and Al Hilde, Jr., former Congressman Jim Ramstad, Sheriff Rich Stanek, Greg Gibson, Eric Blank, and many other community leaders.
