As of Tuesday, June 25, part of 63rd Avenue in Brooklyn Park, will be closed for approximately six weeks from east of Bottineau Boulevard to Georgia Avenue.
Commuters should plan for extra time since the signed detour is a longer route. The detour will utilize Zane Avenue, 69th Avenue and Bottineau Boulevard. This work is part of the reconstruction of Bottineau Boulevard.
Motorists may encounter some delay along the northbound lanes of Bottineau Boulevard for the next six weeks as construction begins within the 63rd Avenue intersection area. However, southbound lanes will remain at full capacity during this six week project phase.
