OBITUARY: Avon Kreatz of Plymouth

Visitation and funeral service Saturday, June 16, at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus in Medina.

Avon Kreatz, 79, of Plymouth passed away June 12, 2012.

She is survived by children, Karen (Roger) Kelley, Michael (Debora), Mark, Kim (Kerry) Abercrombie, Kathy (Dean) Bacso, and Larry (Deanna); grandchildren, Daniel, Kory, Katie, Mason, Kasey, Peyton and Marissa; great granddaughter, Brionna; sisters, Shirley (Wayne) Martin and Carol (Jim) Pederson; brother-in-law, Robert (Phyllis) Kreatz; many other loving relatives and friends.

Avon is preceded in death by husband, George. She was born Dec. 14, 1932.

Avon’s greatest legacy was her devotion to her family. Being a mom was the job she was most proud of. Her family and grandchildren were the “sunshine of her life.” Avon was a woman of class, extraordinary kindness, generosity and grace. Special thanks to Avon’s relatives and friends for their support and visits.

Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society or Fairview Hospice Music Therapy.

Visitation is 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, followed by the funeral at 10 a.m. on the same day at the same location, the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, 155 County Road 24 in Medina.
