Plymouth Police Report Arson, Thefts From Cars

Cars were broken into with items stolen and there was a residential arson in this past week's Plymouth Police blotter.

The Plymouth Police Department report tallied 59 incidents from April 19-25, including the following:

• One arson, a wooden fish art display in the victim’s yard had been burned April 21 on the 12100 block of 24th Avenue.

• Two assaults

• One attempted burglary

• Two commercial burglaries

• Five residential burglaries

• Eight controlled substances found

• One criminal damage to property

• One DOC reported

• Four DWIs

• Three forgeries

• Five reports of fraud, including $1,400 worth of fraudulent charges on a victim’s credit card.

• Three harassments reported

• Three hit and runs

• Two prostitution arrests

• Three terroristic threats reported

• Eleven thefts, including a sprinkler system stolen, wheel chocks and an underage male stealing two bottles of alcohol.

• Four thefts from vehicles, two of which had vehicles’ windows smashed open to gain entry and happened on the 3100 block of Campus Drive. More than $1,900 worth of items was stolen from one vehicle and DVDs and a laptop were stolen from the other.

• One trespass
