Police: Excavator Door Stolen, Possible Prowler

The most recent Plymouth Police report shows numerous thefts and burglaries.

From July 5-11 the Plymouth Police Department reported 66 incidents, which included the following:

• One attempted burglary: on July 8 officers responded to a possible prowler on the 14700 block of 32nd Avenue North. Upon arrival they found an open door on the residence and no loss items, but two vehicles that were parked in the driveway had been entered and had items stolen from them.

• Six residential burglaries, several were the result of open garage doors.

• One motor vehicle theft: on July 11 the complainant reported the suspect took a vehicle out for a test drive and did not return the vehicle on the 9700 block of 56th Avenue North. The vehicle was recovered and formal complaint charges are pending.

• Eleven thefts, two including thefts at local beaches, another on July 11 included a door of an excavator at a construction site stolen with a value loss of $6,000 at the intersection of Carlson Parkway and Gleason Lake.
