Police Report: Plymouth Man Points Gun At People

A weapons offense, thefts, expensive fraudulent charges and more from the past week's police blotter.

From May 24-30 the Plymouth Police Department reported 73 incidents, which included the following:

 • Four assaults

• Two domestic assaults

• Two attempted commercial burglaries

• Three residential burglaries

• Nine controlled substances found, including a 13-year-old female arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• One counterfeit currency

• Five criminal damages to property

• Three DOCs reported

• Two DWIs

• Seven reports of fraud, including one report of two fraudulent orders placed on the internet totaling a loss of $1,176.48 and one report of a suspect using a victim’s information to collect a $3,771 tax refund.

• Two harassments reported

• Four hit and runs

• Two reports of obstruction of the legal process

• One order violation

• One tampering with a motor vehicle

• Eighteen thefts, including a 30-yard dumpster stolen worth $3,500 May 30 on the 13800 block of 24th Avenue North.

• Five thefts from vehicles, including $1,150 worth of items were stolen from a car May 28 on the 200 block of Forestview Lane North and a door was damaged to gain entry.

• One trespass on private property

• One weapons offense, victims called police May 27 to report that a male in a vehicle pointed a handgun at them while in the area of Industrial Park Blvd and Highway 55. A vehicle was located and a BB gun was found in it the Highway 55 and I-494 area. The victims didn’t want to press charges and the suspect was cited for disorderly conduct. A 23-year-old Plymouth man was arrested in the incident.
