Storm Snapshot: Plymouth Continues Clean Up of Recent Storms

Storm cleanup continues. Do you have photos of storm damage? Share them with Patch.

Xcel Energy continues to work on power outages in the west metro Tuesday morning, including Plymouth homes and businesses that are still in need.

Monday evening crews were working on downed power lines on Fernbrook Lane that had been ripped by fallen tree limbs and a pole cracked in half.

Here's what some Plymouth residents have said on Plymouth MN Patch's Facebook page in the wake of the bad weather.

On Monday:
Heather 'Douglas' Reinhart: "Intersections along 55 near 494 are horrendous with a light out at Fernbrook. Maybe they could get an officer to direct traffic during the rush hours until power is restored?"

On Saturday:
Jan Vickery Lillemo: "We're in the 100 block of Saratoga Lane. We don't have power and the trees that came down (one on the house) are still all over the place. At least 6 houses with trees on them in our neighborhood."

Brian Magnuson: "Still out 38th and pilgrim ln. Still out."

Sandy Dockter: "Thanks for the extended hours at the recycling facility."

Anne Furman Madhuizen: "We have two already marked for removal large dead trees hanging on by a thread. After the storms, wind and soaking they are threatening to land on our town homes. They belong to the park owned by Plymouth. Needless to say, after calling everyone including a report to the Plymouth PD we wait... Let us hope tree no. 10 & 11 do not land on us or an innocent dog walker, bile rider etc as we are on the trail to the Luce Line."
