Where To Get A Powerball Jackpot Ticket in Plymouth

If you draw the Powerball winning numbers in Saturday's lottery, you could score $600 million, or a $376.9 million one-time payout, by picking the right Powerball numbers. Check out where to buy a ticket in Plymouth and past lucky lottery winners.

Powerball results were watched closely Wednesday when the jackpot was $363 million. After no one picked all six winning numbers, the new Powerball prize for the Saturday, May 18, 2013, drawing is now up to $600 million.

The one-time cash payout is estimated at $376.9 million. Tickets are $2 and the game is played in Minnesota and 42 other states, including Florida, Texas, California and New York. 

According to the Minnesota State Lottery, as of May 1, here are a few locations where you can buy tickets in Plymouth:

  • Freedom Valu Center on Bass Lake Rd
  • Holiday Gas stations on Fernbrook Lane, Hwy 55, Cheshire Lane, Rockford Rd, Betty Crocker Dr., Schmidt Lake Rd, Campus Dr., County Road 24 and Vinewood Lane.
  • Kwik Trip on Annapolis Lane
  • Paradise Liquor on Nathan Lane
  • PDQ on Annapolis Lane
  • Plymouth BP
  • Rainbow Foods on 6th Avenue North, Vinewood Lane and County Road 24

After the drawing, you can check out the May 18 Powerball numbers on the Minnesota State Lottery website.

The largest Powerball Jackpot cash payout to date was $384 million and was won on Nov. 28, 2012, in Arizona and Missouri.

Although no one from Plymouth has won the full jackpot, however, one lucky player has brought home a $50,000 prize, according to the Minnesota State Lottery website

Clark Knutson of Plymouth was grocery shopping when he decided to purchase a couple of lottery tickets to take home and play. Unfortunately, the store he was at had closed their lottery sales for the night, so he stopped at Kwik Trip, located at 1605 Annapolis Lane in Plymouth, to make the purchase.
