Accident on I-694 Near Rice Street Leaves One in Critical Condition

Three-car crash also results in injuries to four others,

A three-car crash on westbound I-694 near Rice Street this morning resulted in injuries to four people and left one in critical condition, according to an incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol.

The incident occurred at about 9:20 a.m. According to the Patrol, a 25-year-old passenger in one of the cars, a 1992 Ford Taurus, was in critical conditon. Their identity was not disclosed.

Meanwhile, four other people sustained non-life threatening injuries. They were: Glory Si, 24, of St. Paul, the driver of the Ford Taurus and passengers Noe Po, 46, of St. Paul and La La, 30, of St. Paul and a passenger in 2012 Chevy Avalanche, Jody Lallak, 40, of Mahtomedi.

Apparently sustaining no injuries in the crash was Michael A. Robertson, 62, of Woodbury, the driver of a 2005 Toyota Prius, according to the Patrol.
