A perennial summer favorite is back for business.
With predictions for several inches of snow blanketing the Twin Cities today in yet another winter storm, you may be starting to feel that spring will never come.Β
But hey, the calendar says spring is officially here on Wednesday. And one of Roseville's oldest and most popular seasonal businesses is banking on warmer weather coming: The Lexington Avenue Dairy Queen.
Owner Jack DeCrans said he and his wife Mayren reopened their Dairy Queen, the state's oldest one (It dates back to 1947) around Valentine's Day after their typical winter hiatus.

This is the seventh season that the DeCrans have owned and operated the Dairy Queen.Β
The store's most popular-selling ice cream treat? The Dairy Queen Blizzard, Jack DeCrans said.Β

Currently, the Dairy Queen is open daily from 11 a.m. to Β 9 p.m. But the store will extend its evening hours (as late as 10:30 p.m.) when we move into warmer weather, DeCrans said. The store is at 1720 Lexington Ave.Β
