Bell Named Grand Marshal For Rosefest Parade

Central Park Foundation supporter Bob Bell has been named the grand marshal for the 2012 Roseville Rose Parade, which is scheduled next Monday (June 25), the city said.

Bell will be joined by his wife Carmen in the leading the annual summer parade, which is expected to have more than 100 units.

"Bell has a long history of supporting parks in the city of Roseville," the city said in a weekly news update. "He is being honored for his work for Roseville throughout his life and especially for his work on the Roseville Planning Commission in the 1960s when a considerable amount of land was set aside for Roseville parks."

If you can't personally attend the parade, you can watch it live on Cable Channel 16 or CTV 15 beginning at 6:15 p.m., on Monday, June 25.
