Rare Coins Reportedly Stolen from Roseville Apartment

An inch-thick binder full of rare coins were allegedy stolen from an apartment at the Rose Pointe complex, according to an incident report logged by the Roseville Police Department. 

A Brooklyn Park woman filed the complaint on April 21 on behalf of her mother, according to Roseville police.  The daughter told police that her "mother had just recently moved into another home in Maplewood and the apartment was vacant."

The daughter reported the apartment door was not damaged but noticed several items had been moved inside the apartment, the report said. She said she reported the incident to Rose Point management, which denied any involvement in the theft.

No further information was availabe.

Meanwhile during the past several days, Roseville police made a variety calls in response to alleged criminal activity with the blotter including about a dozen complaints involving disorderly conduct and about 20 theft reports.
