Community Engagement on Roseville School Board Agenda

In a recent opinion piece in Roseville Patch, Board chairwoman Kitty Gogins said, "The board recently discussed ideas for expanding ways parents and other community members can share their ideas and work with the board to improve education for our students. Ideas included hosting community forums, attending more local school and community events to connect with students, parents, staff, and community members, and many others.
"The board is working on a “plan of action” and is looking for ideas from the community," Gogins said.

The board agenda for Tuesday night also includes an update report on what Minnesota's waiver from the No Child Left Behind Act means for the Roseville district and details on a tentative teachers' contract.
