East Metro Public Safety Roundup: Lumberjack Days Trial, Dog Maced, Barn Blaze

Here's a weekly listing of crime incidents and police and fire related calls in the East Metro area.

 

During the past week, Roseville police made a variety calls in response to alleged criminal activity with the blotter including several disorderly conducts, auto thefts  and thefts. There was also one call responding to a complaint about terroristic threats. To read the full blotter, click here.

A jury trial for theft charges filed against Lumberjack Days organizer David Eckberg has been set for Aug. 19 in Washington County District Court.

Heating Lamp Possibly Causes Pole Barn Blaze in May Township

Several chickens were lost in the fire and a variety of tools and machinery as well, Stillwater Fire Chief Stu Glaser said. A potential cause of the fire may have been a heat lamp used to keep the chickens warm.
